makeher.co 2017 DREAMBIG campaign
Now, more than ever, grassroots movements that look to drive positive change matter.
makeher + co was founded by Linda Biggs, an ex tech startup director, who felt a deep calling to focus on helping women and girls dream big and to empower women and girls in business and technology sectors.
"We really don't have enough female mentors in business - especially technology - because we're still a minority. The traditional 1:1 'Mad Men' style mentorship model is not feasible when you don't have enough female leaders. I knew this in my mind but I really felt it in my heart after meeting with close to 100 founders and business leaders over several weeks. It hit me hard that only three were women! We need a new mentorship model and it needs to be grassroots. It starts within ourselves with dreaming big, overcoming fears, and working together. Grassroots change means we impact things from the ground up. We make changes at the smallest level first to have the largest impact: ourselves, each other, our communities. It's time to highlight the stories of female leaders in order to encourage other women and girls to dream big and build great things. Once girls and women see themselves mirrored in the future of sectors that weren't always built with us in mind, we gain the courage to change the world."

at makeher + co, our mandate is to help entrepreneurs and startups grow and to be a catalyst for women and girls to dream big. we're a boutique female driven social consultancy that prefers the unpretentiousness of lower case, a good cup of coffee and working with clients we can laugh with.
